MITCH OLIVER

I am really looking forward to supporting Project PT and the team grow and develop their organisation to deliver their ambitions for themselves and for the people they impact. Project PT is a very special place, which is created by a team of very special people, that it will be a privilege to be a part of.

I hope that I can add value to the team as an experienced board member of both large commercial organisations ( Mars Incorporated) and NGOs ( Stonewall, ProBono Economics). My passion is in building brands and the intersection between “for profit” and “for good”–with a deep understanding of both purpose and I&D. I am a proud feminist and love that Project PT is a female founder business, and I live locally and Project PT has definitely enriched my connections with my local community. On a very personal level I have huge affinity for the vision of “Empowering through movement” as a 50 year old woman who discovered the gym after recovering from breast cancer 3 years ago and at Project PT I have felt welcome, I have found a community and I have benefited hugely from the physical and mental strength that comes from taking control of your wellbeing. I hope that through working together we can extend that feeling to so many others, who might not think that the gym is a place for them.
