Beginner Skateboard Event - for Adults & older teens using She or/& They pronouns.

All equipment provided! Welcome to our second event, we can’t wait for this one! Our last event had 75% of women that had never skated before and 90% came alone. Are you coming to our next?

Ever thought about learning a new skill? Or perhaps you just haven’t skated for so long and you’d like to pick a board up again alongside some wonderful humans.

Fancy giving Skateboarding ago in a safe, inclusive environment? A place where falling down is celebrated, because it shows you gave it a go.

Join us for our second Skate Sisters - Skateboard Session at Iffley Skate Park owned by Oxford Wheels Project.

The day will start at 1pm where our team of coaches will take you through a safety briefing, get you padded up and find the right board for you.

We’ll then split you into groups dependent on previous experience or perhaps no experience ;)

It will be a very casual affair, breaks will be welcomed, chats insisted and there will certainly be cake and delicious beverages.

Like our Yoga and Brunch events, we used to run, there will be time for sitting around and chatting to like-minded people with a cake in hand.

This is a ‘grown up event’, if you’d like to come along with your teenagers we’d certainly encourage this, but please no little ones for this event.

By the end of the day we promise you’ll have learnt something, met someone new, had an interesting conversation and found yourself relaxed and laughing in your local skate park.

Don’t be nervous, press the button, treat yourself and skate out of that comfort zone.

Please note we do not have anymore Ice Teas left, all last minute orders will be served Iced Coffee.
