Teen Camp - 4-8th August
Our Teen Camp is for 11-16 year olds who need a place to be themselves, grow their agency, develop their social skills and build on life skills.
Camp is from 12-4pm everyday, allowing them that all important lie in. Drop off and pick up is at our Magdalen Road Upstairs space, which is a perfectly built for our teen camp. With lots of activities, a place to chill and a kitchen to keep fuelled.
Each day starts in the kitchen grabbing a herbal tea or juice followed by a group discussion about what everyone would like to achieve that day. There will be a list of activities they can participate in each day and everyone will be encouraged to give something a go.
From skateboarding to weight lifting, from corn hole to boxing. Arts & crafts and more.
The group of teens will be allocated a budget to spend each day on fruit and other smoothie ingredients, they’ll be able to research recipes in our cook books, budget and pop to our local, independent shop to get their ingredients. Creativity, agency and kindness will be promoted throughout the camp.
We will finish each day with some reflection over what we have achieved, how we felt and what we enjoyed.
Our coaches are all neurodiverse aware and trauma informed, they work with teens and children on a daily basis both in and out of school. Our ethos is for all young people to feel seen, heard and happy. Our coaches will provide a platform for each young person to build on their personal strengths and be their authentic selves.
