She/Her

Without sport and fitness, I don’t know where I’d be. Growing up, I was always a little different, but when I was playing one of my many sports, I could just be myself.
Training and competing were my safe places. During my “youth career” I represented the West of Scotland in Tennis, Scotland in Volleyball and podiumed in Ski Racing at the British championships, so I’m no stranger to the demands of competitive sport.
Following my passion for sport, I studied to become a PE teacher, getting a Masters in Education from Edinburgh Uni. In my final year of uni, I started working in an Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting gym. This was where my love of sports turned into a love of fitness, specifically lifting.
When I graduated, I decided to follow my lifting passion and start personal training.  My goal has always been to help people discover what they are capable of, in turn increasing their confidence and self-esteem. The enjoyment I feel when I see my clients achieve is, simply, amazing.
I’ve absolutely loved PTing, but I’ve missed working with young people. I want to use my skills as a coach, and a teacher, to help young people find their safe space; find their passions; and start believing in themselves.
This is why I am incredibly grateful to be working with The Project PT, as their Youth Sport and Fitness Manager.
I also love a chat, so if you see me around, please come say hi and tell me about yourself. I’ll either be lifting, coaching, or having coffee and cake!
